At Piara Waters Primary School, we utilise the Australian Council of Education Research assessment tool to validate and add to our teacher's understanding about student progress and achievement.

Science Test

Our year 3 to 6 students undertake the Science test at the end of term 3.

Reading Test

Our year 1 to 6 students undertake the Reading test at the start of term 4 each year. If a child newly enrols at our school, they undertake the test at the start of term 1.

We utilise the Adaptive Test, which means the test provides simpler or more difficult questions to the student, based on their test performance.

Maths Test

Our year 1 to 6 students undertake the Maths test at the start of term 4 each year. If a child newly enrols at our school, they undertake the test at the start of term 1.
