Community groups are able to utilise our school facilities outside of school hours.  We prioritise the hire/use of our facilities to groups which provide extra curricula activities and programs for Piara Waters Primary School students.  Funds from the hire of our facilities are utilised to add value to our buildings and grounds.  Recent projects include the installation of benches on the school oval and in the kindergarten and pre-primary area.

COMMUNITY USE GROUPS AND PROGRAMS

The following community groups hire our school facilities, and provide out of school activities for our students.  Please note - the school does not endorse any of these programs run by private providers.   Please contact the provider directly to enrol or enquire about the programs. 

Chess lessons

PWPS students can participate in chess lessons after school (Mondays, 2:35 - 3:35pm) in our junior science room. 

Lessons are run by the King Chess Club and enrolment is open each term.   Please contact the King Chess Club for more information

PMI Music lessons

PWPS students can participate in guitar and keyboard lessons, after school in our music room.  Lessons are in small groups, or individual. Please contact PMI Plus (Primary Music Institute) for more information. 

Tennis Lessons

Tennis lessons are held before school, on Fridays, on our basketball court.  Hard copy flyers are sent home to students ahead of each schedule of lessons.

Punjabi Language and Culture Lessons

Sahibzada Fateh Singh Jee Inc. provide cultural and language lessons on Saturdays at our school.  These lessons are open to students across the wider community.  Please contact the SFSJ group for further information.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Before and after school care, and vacation care is available on site, in our undercover area.  This is currently provided by OSH Club.  Please refer to our Before and After School care page for more information.
