Seesaw

We use Seesaw to communicate classroom and student learning throughout the year.

Seesaw is an online platform which provides a safe and secure space for our students to share their learning journey with their parents. There is an opportunity for parents to provide feedback on this learning.

Seesaw at Piara Waters Primary School

Parents need to download the Seesaw App or access Seesaw on a computer via a web browser. Seesaw requires an invitation for parents to sign up. New (and Kindergarten) students will be provided this when they have commenced at our school. We will provide you with a QR code to make this process easy.

Teachers and students will share classroom or their individual student learning from the classroom to families. Even our Kindergarten students learn how to take a photograph of their work and post to their journals to share with their families.

If teachers share class learning to the class, all parents in the class can see it. If individual students share their learning (or a teachers shares just the learning of your child), only your family will be able to see it.

Some classes also use Seesaw to share projects or learning activites which students then complete at home or school.

Please note that Piara Waters Primary School does not use the message function in Seesaw. If you wish to contact your teacher, do so via Connect, Email or in person.
